These beautiful people were the first ones in front of my camera when I was at Kristen's Storytime Workshop. It was Friday night, and the purpose of this family shoot was to observe the moments. I teamed up with the lovely Steph (of Taylor Clark Photography) and we headed out to spend the evening with the DeVries.
We were scheduled to leave Kristen's house at 5:30pm so we could get to our families houses before 6pm and be around when dinner was happening. We ate dinner late (because we were talking) and we got a late start... ooopps :) When we did leave Kristen's house, Steph and I jumped in her car and plugged the DeVries' address into her GPS. Now, you have to know that Step is from Kingsport, Canada... and apparently it's a Canadian GPS... that means it couldn't find the DeVries address. So we had to run inside and get GoogleMaps to save the day.
It was close to 6:30pm when we finally arrived at the DeVries house. We were late, but when we walked in the door David and Hannah met Steph and I with open arms. This little family made me think of what my family must've looked like years ago before my youngest sister Abigail was born. My sister Emma and I are 13 months apart and we were just like these two little ladies many years ago. It was sweet to see little faces and little voices going on adventures at the park, picking dandelion flowers, cuddling up for story time, laughing when Daddy tickled and giggling when Mommy and Daddy played with the sock puppets!
David and Hannah, thanks so much for opening up you home and inviting me in to record this special time in your lives. Enjoy your special little girls and their sweet faces. Here is your sneak peak. Oh, and I'll put your CD will be in the mail next week!
