You're probably going to recognize these faces. They've been here many times before.
These people hold a very special place in my heart and I've been a special part of their family for a little over 2 years now... I'm the babysitter.
My babysitters were some of my favorite people when I was a little kid. They did silly things with us, had movie nights, fed us lots of ice cream, and let us stay up late. They were special and I loved them.
When the Bennetts came into my life, I immediately fell for the sweet smiles and chubby checks of the sweet little munchkins. Andy and Amy were a weird mix between a uncle and aunt, and a older brother and sister. They talked to me, joked with me and gently corrected me when I've needed it. Amelia and Aiden became the niece and nephew I don't have yet, and when Ava was born I was determined that I would teach her to call me "Aunt Khloe". We're still working on that one... it's more like "Goo-ee" right now. But hey, it's better than nothing!
Now I'm the babysitter and I'm the one who gets to bring the fun. Bicycle rides, icecream cones and a movie nights, blanket forts and popcorn, Chick-fil-A and a day at the park, storytime cuddles, dancing to Just Dance with a baby on my hip, and teaching them how to do handstands.
Yep. It's awesome.
So, dear readers, meet my 2nd family. They're pretty fantastic people.
